Pascal Gentner isn’t (yet) performing regularly again, but somehow requests are piling up along the lines of: “It’s been so long since your last show—can’t you come back one more time?” Is it because of the age when many people start looking back on the past? A lot has changed, some things are still true, and where are we actually headed tomorrow? Pascal’s songs are sometimes surprisingly relevant, sometimes playfully old-fashioned. Humor and thoughtfulness alternate, and stories from life remain stories in which many people recognize themselves. When the audience listens, he’s happy; when they sing along, he’s in seventh heaven.
